On June 19th, the Old Idaho Pen will open its gates to a day of live music, art and historical intrigue.

LOCATION:

The Gem State Jam will be held on Saturday, June 19th inside the walls of the Old Idaho Penitentiary. Located at 2445 Old Penitentiary Road (map) just minutes from downtown Boise.  Bring a blanket or chair and enjoy the grounds for the day.

TICKETS:

Tickets are available online through Brown Paper Tickets and in Boise at the Record Exchange and Egyptian Theatre Box Office.

PRICING:

Regular Advance: $15
Regular Gate: $20

All Ages welcome.  The Gem State Jam is designed to be a family friendly, all day event.  Kids under 12 are free and the Idaho Dairy Products Commission will be handing out free milk during the Boise Rock School Performance.

Re-Entry will be allowed until 6pm.

Parking is free but please carpool or ride your bike! There will be plenty of bike parking available.

EXHIBITS:

Old Penitentiary Exhibits Open!  Come learn a little about Idaho’s history as you enjoy the grounds.  In addition to the music, art, and vendor displays, the Idaho State Historical Society will be showcasing their exhibits and have their wonderful volunteers to tell you about the past of the Old Pen.

SUSTAINABILITY:
