The Gem State Jam will be held on Saturday, June 19th inside the walls of the Old Idaho Penitentiary. Located at 2445 Old Penitentiary Road (map) just minutes from downtown Boise, the Old Idaho Pen will open its gates to a day of live music and historical intrigue.  The Gem State Jam aims to combine live music an art in a historic setting in an effort to increase awareness of Idaho’s historical artifacts and bring quality music acts together in one place.

GSquare Productions and the Idaho Historical Society will incorporate programs to offset the event’s carbon footprint (Greening Page).  Alternative power sources, efficient production, and historic preservation will make the Gem State Jam a truly sustainable event.

GSquare Productions is an independent company working out of Boise, ID and San Diego, CA.  The focus of GSquare Productions is to produce top-notch events with a focus on quality for both the artists and patrons.  We also aim to incorporate sustainable energy practices into out events in an attempt to lower the carbon footprint and promote sustainable business.
