On June 11th, the Old Idaho Pen will open its gates to live music, art and historical intrigue.

LOCATION

The 3rd Annual Gem State Jam will be held Saturday, June 11 inside the walls of the Old Idaho Penitentiary. Located at 2445 Old Penitentiary Road (map) just minutes from downtown Boise. This is a family friendly event and kids under 5 are FREE.

Tickets are available online through Brown Paper Tickets and in Boise at the Record Exchange (1105 W. Idaho Street).

General Admission: $20 adv / $25 Gate (Ages 5-12 $10 at the Gate)

4-Pack:  $60

VIP / All Inclusive:  $50 (Includes covered Main Stage viewing area, complimentary food and beverages (including beer / wine options), event laminate and souviner poster - While Supplies Last)

FOOD AND BEVERAGES

Food will be provided by the following vendors:

- Pie Hole (pizza slices, soft drinks)

- B29 Streatery (patty melt, grilled cheese, salads, pork sliders, fries, ice cream sandwich)

- Under The Big Top (snow cones, hot dogs, Polish dog, ice cream, candy)

- Leialoha's Lemonade (lemonade, italian soda, baked goods)

- Wayne's Smokehouse (BBQ)

Beverages include premium beers from New Belgium Brewery, Pabst Blue Ribbon and a selection of local wines.

ART VENDORS / SHOWCASE

Art vendors from throughout the Northwest will be selling their work at the Gem State Jam. We will also be providing space for selected artists to showcase an art exhibit of their choice. Email art@gemstatejam.com for vendor forms or to submit your artwork for showcase consideration.

PRISON EXHIBITS

Old Penitentiary Exhibits Open!  Come learn a little about Idaho’s history as you enjoy the grounds.  In addition to the music, art, and vendor displays, the Idaho State Historical Society will be showcasing their exhibits and have their wonderful volunteers to tell you about the past of the Old Pen.
